Servers:
Our server equipment belongs to us, not some third party that we barely know. Many hosting providers are merely resellers, i7MEDIA is not a reseller. Owning the equipment gives us a vested interest in its viability. That means we take good care of our equipment so that we can get the most out of it and provide the best to our customers.
Power:
Our datacenter has redundant power for it's redundant power. A separate utility feed from each of Kansas City's power companies ensures we will have power even in the event of failure from one provider. In the highly unlikely scenario that both feeds fail, we have diesel-powered generators on-site with thousands of gallons of fuel. If we run out of fuel (and none can be found), we have enough batteries to power the datacenter for weeks.
Cooling:
Servers like it cool and we keep them that way. With over 150 tons of cooling available by both liquid and traditional CRAC units, our servers are never over-heated.
